Written by Uday Chopra

Music: Salim Sulaiman

Release date: JAN 8 , 2010

Abhay (Uday Chopra) is your everyday geek with a good heart. He goes about his deeds and dips into the backdrop before anyone can really notice him. So one can not really blame the college hottie Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) for not having noticed Abhay either.

Seven years later, Abhay goes on to come up with a sure-fire software that could rake in millions. However even before he can taste success, his software is stolen by Siddhu aka Varun (Dino).

Chasing the culprit, he lands up in Singapore where he runs once again into his lost love, Alisha. Alisha is now a single divorced mom but Abhay decides to woo her even if it means that he has to pose as a nanny for her six year old kid. All is well, until Varun also lands up to win Alisha's heart.

Just when you think that Uday Chopra is trying to do something fruitful in the industry, one realises that the so-called story written by Uday is a rip off from the Malayalam flick Kilukkampetti starring Jayaram and Suchitra Krishnamurthy. Add to that the geek college track that Akshay had attempted in JAAN E MANN, and presto.. that is more or less PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE.

THE PANEL ROOM Rating : 2/5

As usual Taran Adarsh is the sweetest of the lot reserving some sweet words for the YashRaj gang. But the rest of the pack was not so kind. The only respite is that this time Uday the actor is not the one getting all the flak. Instead it is Uday the writer. Priyanka, though, seem to be forgiven this time around since she has proven that she is capable of much better.

feel-good film. If you are a romantic, this one's for you. Even if you’re not, still watch it" - TARAN ADARSH / Bollywood Hungama 3/5

it's impossible to find much love for this film! RAJEEV MASAND (IBNLIVE) 1/5

the basic problem with Pyaar Impossible is that in the first ten minutes of the film you can predict the last ten minutes. Gaurav Malani (Indiatimes) 2/5

Forget love, even hate isn’t possible here. This film leaves you bereft of emotion. Meena Iyer (Mumbaimirror) 2/5

Pyaar Impossible is depressingly dim-witted Anupama Chopra (NDTV) 1.5/5

Thus, it seem impossible for this movie to make any impression whatsoever. Not exactly the best way to kick off a year now, is it? That too when you take the fact that 2008 got over with a bang in the form of 3 IDIOTS!
