The Golden Globes 2010 were handed over last night amidst all the glitz and the glam. Below are the winners from the film category, on a night in which AVATAR took a giant stride towards the Oscars. So is it the Return of the king for Cameron ?

Frankly, it was a suprise seeing AVATAR and HANGOVER walking away with top honours which only goes on to show how audience friendly the HFPA is trying to get. It is also evident with Downey Jr's nod for the award, which fetched the audience the best acceptance speech and for the producers high TRPs.

Frankly the awards shows are coming down to those basic necessities - TRPS and media focus.
