The verdict is clear. The critics have loved the latest Dr Seuss adaptation to the big screen, Horton Hears a Who!. The same people who barely managed to sit through earlier live action flicks like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and The Cat in a Hat reaffirms their faith in Dr Seuss and their writing. Atleast this time around they are more friendly to the animated version. Dr Seuss Horton Hears a Who afterall boasts the voice talents of some of the biggest names in comedy - Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, Seth Rogen , Will Arnett.
It also easily goes up the ladder as one of the most well received films of this year.
However that means doom for the other competition in the big screens.
NEVER BACK DOWN a college beat em up tale fails to make any inroads and looks to be one silly outing. Initial reports says that despite what you say, this one will have to back down from the competition.
DOOMSDAY was another film that was having some buzz, purely for the sole reason that the director's last film Descent was one worthy flick. However Doomsday is a zombie tale that hardly has a bone of novelty in it. With no critic screening, the makers have delayed the word coming out...for the verdict is clear..Its DOOM for this.
