Lawyer Govinda after making his unsuccessful rounds around the court room with a Liar Liar remake will now be seen in yet another courtroom comedy remake .
My cousin Vinny is being remade into hindi with Govinda playing the lead character. Other members in the cast includes Tabu and Lara Dutta. Ravi Chopra the director has supposedly gone ahead and bought the remake rights of the original Hollywood flick, yet goes on to claim that his film is hardly like the original. Yet spent money and get the copyrights!
For some reason, bad decision from Govinda to be a part of this movie. Instead of a laugh riot this will be nothing more than a 80s family drama under the Chopra banner. I just have the feeling!
Sure thing Ravi ....it is nice to acknowledge the original. But to still insist that your movie is not like that makes you no different. So yes you have some extra cash for the copy right...big deal!
