Ajay Devgan tries his hand at production once again and this time even goes ahead and sits on the directors chair. And thus, he brings his home production with wife Kajol playing the leading lady.
Ajay plays the title role of a leading psychiatrist Ajay who is on a trip aboard a cruise liner. However he instantly falls head over heels when he meets Pia (Kajol) and from that instant is after hot pursuit to win the lady's hands.
And just when you think the lead couple is cooking up something comes something in between them - in the form of Pia's diary!
The whole story is told as a flashback of the couple that happened 25 years ago.
The makers have immediately shot down all suggestions that the film is just a remake of the romantic novel and film, THE NOTEBOOK!
The positives are being Devgan's home production, it is sure to boast of rich production values like seen in his earlier one - Raju Chacha. And any film that gives the audience a glimpse of Kajol is a big deal indeed.
Add to that the music of Vishal Bharadwaj and we know that atleast the music part is in good hands.
