Cast: Vadivelu, Suja, Nasser
Directed by Thambi Ramiah
Music Subesh Murali
Following the success of Imsai Arasan, Vadivelu is here with yet another fantasy-based comedy taking on mythology this time around. However a good script and the smart filming sense of Shankar all worked behind the success of Arasan. However in this film, all that smartness seems to have gone for a toss.
The three dasis of Indiralogam – Rambai, Urvasi, and Menaka come down to earth on a visit from their heavenly abode. That is when they come upon a watch Azhagapan (Vadivelu) perform a play. Mesmerised by the performance, Rambai ends up back in earth cursed. It is then our hero Azhagappan who brings her back to heaven.
However his visit to the heavens gives him powers to predict the future. IT is here that Azhagappan decides to tamper with life and death. This eventually makes the gods angry.

Vadivelu not only plays the title character of Azhagapan but also that of gods Indiran and Yamagandan. Nasser plays the role of Lord Naradar. And even Shreya has been roped in for a special number for this flick.
PANEL ROOM
The verdict seems pretty clear. This comedy hardly makes you chuckle and the script seems to be just a lot of mumbo-jumbo with no noble purpose.
Instead of coming up with a cohesive comic script, they just cobbled together an ensemble of comedy tracks - Behindwoods
the movie impresses in bits and pieces. It lacks consistency. Still, you can watch it for Vadivelu. - Indiaglitz
All blame for this disappointing film is the screenplay which is clichéd, unimaginative and amateurish to say the least. – Sify.com
