Striker movie is set in Bombay, in the mid '80's and based on true life accounts of the people of Malvani, Striker is a story of triumph of human spirit over indomitable odds.Its the story of Surya (played by Siddharth of Rang De Basanti Fame) and his triumph.
It is a story of Surya, a Carrom player from Bombay, who lives on the fringes of a criminal existence, but who does not succumb to it.
It is a story of a man's passion for a game that gave him strength to triumph over all those who took the easier path.

The general feel we get from most of the reviews is the 'could have been a lot more' note. Yet the film is well received and the performances are winning appreciations. Box office wise it may not be a strong performer, but this one is sure to grab the attention of many.
