APR 5 2008 - Raj Kumar Santoshi who has usually settled for single word titles like Damini, Ghayal, Khakee, Lajja, Pukar etc is now going for something more unique and elaborate for his next- the title shall be AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI.
Music shall be Pritam and Raj Kumar Santoshi confirms that he intends to start shooting once Ranbir gets back from a long Yash Raj shooting schedule.
Santoshi talks a bit about how he would like to give a throwback to the Raj Kapoor with the character he has planned for Ranbir in his talk with Subash Jha.
UPDATE MAR 3 2008: The latest reports is that Raj Kumar Santoshi is not working on his musical London Dreams, nor is he working on his ambitious Mahabharatha. Then what about his hyped PVR production Ashoka which too seem to have come to a grinding halt?
While everyone keep guessing the status of some projects like these, Raj Kumar Santoshi has gone ahead and decided to kick start yet another project. And as per stories, it seems that he has gone ahead and signed current heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and even roped in Katrina Kaif to be the leading lady.
The film is produced by Tips and everyone hopes atleast this project sees the light!
So will Ranbir will be the director's new trump card. His earlier two Devgan and Sunny paaji seem to have gone back to the deck for the moment!
