A hard disk crash at the post-production studio, Sound City in Andheri, resulted in most of the dubbed portions of the film were completely erased. And this when the film is two weeks away from release. Major scenes of Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and an important scene of Akshaye Khanna were erased from the hard disk.
Now that is strange....don't these guys have backup. I mean you are spending crores on a project and the least thing you can do is put up a backup. I mean if my site crashes, I can still take it as labour's love lost...atleast no money is out there. But Abbas Mustan? producer Taurani? Seriously...no back up.
Chances are that this is just some publicity talk as the release date approaches. Or when the film gets panned by the critics, Abbas Mustan can easily tell the press...'guess what the film suffered because the MOST important scene of the film got erased in our hard disk crash'!
Good alibi...talk about creative excuse!!
