This does make for interesting ethics in an industry that never boasted of having one, atleast good ones, that is! Yash Raj Films however does seem to have mastered a way of making up for their stars.
Now the story goes that Sidharth Anands' Yash Raj project is a tale of one man and the women that he comes across in life. Initially there were four women cast for the film - Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Katrina Kaif. However the makers was quick to realise that with the current set up, the length was going overboard. They realised that there was no way that they can do justice to all the characters. And since they have already shot with three of the heroines already, it was decided to scrap the entire Katrina Kaif portion of the story. Thus Kaif was left out of the project alltogether.
However Yash Raj instantly offered Kaif the lead role when they announced their next project with director Kabir Lal However coming into the equation is John Abraham, who obviously does not share good vibes with Salman. But it seems like Salman is ensuring that he does not come in Katrina's career and so shall stay away from it all. How long is that going to be is yet to be seen!
Meanwhile Katrina also bags the project Blue where she shall star opposite Akshay Kumar replacing Priyanka chopra.
