Do not ask for chronological sense, for this is the Star Wars afterall. As long as we get more of the saga, the fans are happy…extremely happy they shall remain.
Especially now that George Lucas has announced that August 15 shall be the release date for the latest installment in the series – STAR WARS : The Cone Wars. This time however it shall be an animated feature that will be followed by a 30 episode animated TV series for Cartoon Network/ TNT.
The creative genius behind the Star Wars, George Lucas goes ontop that there was a lot more of Star Wars that he wanted but could not include in the film series. So it was just a matter of time before it came out in other forms.
The animated series is directed by David Filoni, who have also worked previously on Avatar The Last Airbender.
What is also to be noted here is that this will not be brought to you by 20th Century Fox. Though all the movies were released by Fox, this animated series shall be brought to you by Warner Brothers.
This new animation film, will be set before the events of the Revenge of the Sith where Anakin and Obi-Wan are trying to hold the galactic republic, split apart by war between a separatist robot army and the white-armoured clones.
