HEATH LEDGER (1979-2008)Australian-born actor Heath Ledger was found dead on Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence in what authorities called a possible drug-related death, the New York Police Department said. He was 28.
The demise of the popular star, famous for his roles in films like Brokeback Mountain, A Knights Tale, was also going to hit a career high note this summer after being casted as The Joker in the upcoming Batman flick : The Dark Knight.
